Probably the fastest tool rebel in the world
Mr. Hayabusa keeps going even where others would have long given up
Mr. Hayabusa
If someone manages to have their stage name entered into their ID card by the usually very strict German authorities, they must be a very special person. Mr. Hayabusa is truly a very special person. He has been racing motorcycles since 1976. He holds no less than nine world speed records, and retirement from motorcycling is nowhere in sight. On the contrary: Mr. Hayabusa keeps going even where others would have long given up. On May 20, 2013, Mr. Hayabusa, aka Elmar Geulen, had a serious accident at the 56th Bremerhaven Fishing Port Race and suffered a triple neck fracture. With indomitable will, he fought his way back and by September 2015 felt fit enough to set a new world speed record, this time for street-legal motorcycles without fairings (so-called naked bikes). On September 6, 2015, he reached a top speed of 295.5 km/h in both directions on the A31 autobahn with his LKM-Suzuki B-King. Mr. Hayabusa’s real name is Elmar Geulen. Elmar Geulen is the only person in the world officially authorized by Suzuki International Europe to carry the name Mr. Hayabusa due to his sporting achievements. That’s quite an accomplishment.

Behind the fast and striking exterior is a truly valuable person who never gives up and doesn’t let boundaries hold him back. That’s why he fits so well with the Wera team, and it’s no surprise that Wera and Mr. Hayabusa have shared a warm partnership for many years.
Wera is present at every race. With tools, the Wera brand presence, and Mr. Hayabusa as the Tool Rebel.
